Since November 2, 2009 STEP.AT as well as the EBA STEP2 Access via the OeNB are named STEP-Services.

The European Commission’s decision that, as of July 1, 2003, the same fees were to be charged for domestic and for intra-EU payments, was a milestone on the way toward the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).
