Please note that the Oesterreichische Nationalbank will accept shipments with declared value only if they comply with postal regulations. The packaging must not be damaged or resealable, nor may it feature any underlining. Moreover, the sender must not have used any adhesive tape or address labels (the tape or labels could conceal an opening). The packaging must show the sender’s return address.
We would like to point out that the risk involved in the postal transport of declared-value items is borne by the sender and that the Oesterreichische Nationalbank will not assume liability for any lost shipments of declared value.
