Exchanging Schillings for Euro
The Oesterreichische Nationalbank will continue to exchange all schilling banknotes and coins of the last series for an unlimited period. Schilling banknotes that were withdrawn before the introduction of the euro can be exchanged at the OeNB until their respective exchange periods expire.
Exchange by Registered Insured Mail
You may send us your schilling banknotes and coins by registered insured mail, and we will credit the euro equivalent to your account.
